They will be moved to a new cloud region with an updated infrastructure. Your data will be migrated and available immediately after the upgrade is completed. Both services will be upgraded to recent versions of JupyterHub and BinderHub. Notebooks will also be updated to include Real Time Collaboration and JWT authentication.
