Dear all
We are excited to invite you to our upcoming webinar titled "Reproducible Open Science with EGI Replay," scheduled for April 17th, 2024, at 14:00 CEST.
In this webinar, we will be showcasing EGI Replay, a managed service for the EGI Community based on Binder. EGI Replay empowers users to effortlessly reproduce intricate calculations, simulations, and visualizations by importing Jupyter Notebooks and their respective runtime environments. With just a single link, users can seamlessly share their work with collaborators, making Replay an indispensable tool for workshops, scientific workflows, and team collaboration.
**Highlights**
- Introduction to EGI Replay: A managed service for the EGI Community based on Binder.
- Ease of Reproducibility: Showcase of how EGI Replay enables users to effortlessly reproduce intricate calculations, simulations, and visualizations by importing Jupyter Notebooks and their respective runtime environments.
- Seamless Collaboration: Demonstration of how users can share their work with collaborators using a single link, making Replay an invaluable tool for workshops, scientific workflows, and team collaboration.
** Speaker**
Our esteemed speaker for this event will be Sebastian Luna-Valero, a Cloud Community Support Specialist at the EGI Foundation. Sebastian brings a wealth of experience in research computing and a passion for providing valuable computational support to researchers. He will be sharing insights into the capabilities of EGI Replay and how it facilitates reproducible open science within the EGI Community.

Dear EGI site and VO admins,
The EGI Foundation and 4 EGI members* are involved in a new Horizon Europe project, called GreenDIGIT and started working on the lowering of the environmental impact of digital infrastructures. GreenDIGIT will benefit the EGI community, 3 other DIGIT infrastructures from ESFRI (SLICES, SoBigData, EBRAINS) and thematic ESFRIs with significant IT capacities.
GreenDIGIT will work with the EGI sites and with reference VOs on a landscape study, on green metrics, on improved energy management and workload management practices.
I'd like to invite you to a zoom meeting where we'll introduce the GreenDIGIT project and will discuss these collaborative activities. Please indicate your availability for this first collaboration meeting in the following doodle: https://doodle.com/meeting/participate/id/enGvEgWa
If your institute/VO has dedicated person(s) for green/environmental aspects of your data centre/applications, then please forward this invitation to them.
* CESNET, CNRS, CSIC, SZTAKI
Thanks and regards,
Gergely Sipos
