Dear all,
After evaluating options for VHF and UHF power amplifiers for the transmitting chains of
our ground station I have reached a preliminary conclusion on what to procure.

€10.50
For a total cost of 966,20 euro.
Here are some key features of both amplifiers:
* 60W output power
* 34 dB small signal gain UHF, 36 dB VHF
* 12V enable pin for on/off control
* Integrated harmonic filtering
* SMA input, N-type output
Using these we should get a link margin of ~19 dB for APTAS which in turn should give us
less than 10^-10 bit errors per second on telecommands.
Please feel free to raise objections or give feedback. From Rickard Nilsson I would like
to hear if you are interested in joining the order with us so we get 2 of everything?
Best regards,
Martin Elfvelin
