The Space Physics and Astronomy Research Unit (https://www.oulu.fi/en/university/faculties-and-units/faculty-science/space…) at the University of Oulu, Finland, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position. The successful candidate will work in the project "Ion-neutral interactions in arctic upper atmosphere observed with EISCAT3D (IONTRACE)" to develop novel incoherent scatter radar measurement and data analysis techniques, and to use them for observing ion-neutral interactions in the high-latitude ionosphere-thermosphere system. The position is fixed-term until 31 August 2029, starting 01 September 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Requirements: PhD in Space Physics or a closely related field. Good programming skills are necessary. Experience in studies of the ionosphere-thermosphere system, incoherent scatter radars, and auroral electrodynamics are considered benefits.
